      Worked in 1975. In 1978, he was admitted to the Agricultural Economics Department of China Agricultural University (formerly Beijing Agricultural University) with a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctorate. He went to Hohenheim University in Germany from 1986 to 1987 for further studies. In 1982, he taught at China Agricultural University. He was the dean of the School of Economics and Management of China Agricultural University, the executive vice president of the Graduate School, the vice president, the president of the Beijing University of Industry and Commerce, and the secretary of the party committee. The main social part-time jobs include: Executive Vice President of China Business Economics Association, Vice President of China Agricultural Economics Association, Consultant of the 7th and 8th Beijing Municipal Government, “Agricultural Economic Issues”, “China Rural Economy”, “China Rural Watch” Editors of magazines such as "World Agriculture" and "Advanced Agricultural Education". In 1995, he was awarded the National Excellent Teacher and Beijing Excellent Teacher. In 1998, he was granted special allowance by the State Council. In 1999, he was awarded the title of Young and Middle-aged Expert with outstanding contributions from the Ministry of Agriculture.

       The main research and teaching direction is agricultural market and policy. He has presided over more than 40 related scientific research projects, published and published millions of academic achievements, and won many academic awards.
